PLEASE NOTE that while we will review all submissions, we strongly encourage the submission of panels because of their organizational and substantive coherence.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
If you are submitting an Abstract (presentation that is not part of a panel proposal), please paste below or attach the following: (1) title of presentation, (2) your name, institutional affiliation, and professional title; (3) Abstract (200 to 250 words).

PANEL SUBMISSION:
Panels consist of four presenters, a chair, and a discussant. Note that the chair and discussant may be the same person. We invite panels on a wide range of topics in the social sciences and humanities of Southeast Asia. As noted in the call for papers, we encourage panels with a geographical comparative approach (across Southeast Asia as well as between Southeast Asia and other world regions, especially in Asia) and panels that cross disciplinary boundaries.

If you are submitting a panel proposal, please paste below or attach the following: (1) title of panel, (2) name, institutional affiliation, and professional title of the convener; (3) brief description of panel (200 words maximum), (4) names, institutional affiliation, and professional title of all panelists (chair, discussant, and paper presenters); and (5) Abstracts of no more than 250 words each from each panelist.
