Directed Reading Form - SLST 5900 3.0

Graduate Program in Socio-Legal Studies Master’s Program

This MACH Form will be used in lieu of hard copy form for student to apply for a Directed Reading course in SLST. There are three steps to this new process:

1.Students to complete the form with their student information and the required course information (course description, list of assignments, a bibliography and a grade breakdown for the course - This is best done by providing a course syllabus). Once this is completed, the course director will be notified by email;

2. Course Directors complete this online form in lieu of the hard copy Directed Reading Form. Once this is completed, the Graduate Program Director will be notified by email.

3. GPD completes this online form in lieu approving and signing of the hard copy Directed Reading Form.

Once these three steps are completed, the student, course director and GPD will receive an email advising them that the Directed Reading Form application is completed and the graduate program office has given the student permission to enroll in the course.
