Thank you for your interest in collaborating with Tea Time Talks. Tea Time Talks is a student-led and campus partner-led initiative designed to foster intercultural understanding and promote a sense of belonging among students at York University. Through thoughtfully curated sessions, participants explore cultural traditions such as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Chuseok (Korean Autumn Harvest Festival), Diwali, Lunar New Year, Nowruz, and other significant celebrations. Additionally, Tea Time Talks organizes meaningful sessions on identity, self-care, mental health, and overall well-being. Each event provides a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, encouraging students to share personal experiences and engage in meaningful conversations that highlight both differences and commonalities. This initiative aims to strengthen community ties and foster a more connected and empathetic campus environment. We encourage each organization to have its President, Signing Officer, or another designated executive complete this collaboration request form. We typically begin planning Tea Time Talks sessions at least six weeks before the event date. Early submissions are encouraged to allow sufficient time for collaboration and preparation. Questions?
