About admission steps:
- Based on your qualifications, you may be invited to apply to either the Foundation or Certificate program.
- The Foundation program is designed as a preparatory pathway. Courses completed in the Foundation program are equivalent to the first term of the Certificate and may be applied toward the Certificate if you progress successfully.
- This form is the first step in our intake process. Once you submit your information, we will assess your eligibility and place you into our intake pool. Based on your responses, we will assess your profile and determine which program (Foundation or Certificate) you may be best suited for starting in.

Selected candidates will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) between May and July, which will include instructions to submit a formal application through the York University application portal.
