We are excited that you are interested in joining us. CIKL membership is determined by the Executive Committee, for a duration of either two years or continued enrollment, employment or project term.

Please see our membership options (https://www.yorku.ca/research/cikl/associates-application/) prior to filling in this application form. Upon receipt, the CIKL Executive Committee will discuss your application and contact you.

Research Associates are part-time, full-time or emeritus faculty members at York University, or elsewhere, or senior (non-student) researchers not affiliated with a university.

Graduate Associates are graduate students at York University, or elsewhere, whose program of learning and research intersects with Indigenous or decolonizing topics and who wish to participate in the activities of CIKL.

Undergraduate Associates are undergraduate students who are employed in CIKL projects or under the supervision of a CIKL member.

Community Associates are activists, teachers, public officials, York University staff, or senior (non-student) researchers not affiliated with a university whose activities (work or non-work) relate substantively to the research aims of CIKL.

Visiting Associates are full-time or emeritus faculty members at another university or senior (non-student) researchers not affiliated with a university who would like to be located at York University for a temporary period.
