This form is to be used ONLY by those students who will be following the one comp/candidacy exam option. Students completing two comprehensives should fill out the former comp pre-approval form located on the Graduate Sociology website. This form and all supporting documentation (reading list, rationale for reading list and three take-home exam questions) must be submitted to the Program Office prior to beginning the comprehensive exam process. The reading list will then be sent to the curriculum committee for approval and the student will be notified of the decision within a few days.
